Wanted: Perpetual Pilgrims to walk with Jesus in 2025
Dear St. Patrick, Atoka & St. William, Durant parishioners,
As we prepare for our national elections I recommend all of voting age to study our U.S. bishops' guidance for voting that is provided by the USCCB. With the confusion with which Pope Francis' comments tend to open themselves I recommend that they be interpreted in the best light, rather than the worst. I think Jimmy Akins does so in his assessment of a recent comment by His Holiness concerning all religions leading to God.
Young adults are sought to walk in the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage next summer from Indianapolis, Indiana to Los Angeles, California. The route is likely to pass through Kansas or Oklahoma. The dealine for application is this month with the route details anticipated to be provided in the spring.
