St. William Catholic Parish in Durant, OK is raising funds to build a multi-purpose building to serve as a Parish Hall and Education Building for our growing Parish Community. Our 1950's Parish Hall space was designed for a Parish one half of our current size.   We do not have room for many of the activities a congregation should have if it is to be a flourishing parish, especially for our children. Our current Education Building was originally a Convent and the rooms are much too small to conduct the catechesis of our children. Aware that we are at maximum capacity in both the education building and the Parish Hall, Most Rev. Edward J. Slattery, Bishop of Tulsa, wholeheartedly supports our efforts and voiced his special affection for our parish, which is the most remote parish from the Diocesan center.

In its one hundredth year of history, St. William has overcome the problems of a small parish and has endured in unity and in the love of Jesus Christ. Though small, St. William is vibrant with stable leadership and committed parish members working together to raise funds for this building project. Our mission with this project is to better serve and to reach out to those who are searching for God. We want to gather all into Our Lord’s home, and by spreading His Word, educate our youth and assist those in need. We sincerely need your help.

Our GROWING Parish needs YOUR help and prayers! Please help us make our building a reality. We are growing, so we urge you to join us in our efforts through your charitable donations and contributions.

God bless you.
